Chill forward Lindauer signs NAHL tender

The Coulee Region Chill (formerly the La Crosse Freeze) of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that forward Brady Lindauer has signed a North American Hockey League (NAHL) tender agreement with the Maryland Black Bears of the NAHL’s East Division.
Lindauer, 18, just completed his first season of playing junior hockey, which was spent with the Freeze in the NA3HL and also the Coulee Region Chill in the NAHL.
The 5’9/165 lbs. native of Cary, Illinois, began the season playing for Coulee Region in the NAHL. In seven NAHL games, Lindauer had one point. He then thrived in the NA3HL for the Freeze, recording 64 points (16 goals, 48 assists) in just 34 regular season games, which ranked 2nd in team scoring.
Lindauer also had four points in eight playoff games. He was also selected to and played in the 2018 NA3HL Top Prospects Tournament for the Blue (Central/Coastal Division) team.
“Brady has excellent hockey IQ and play making ability. He brings junior experience and a winning culture to Maryland’s program. The Chill are excited for this opportunity for Brady,” said Chill head coach Jon Vaillancourt.
A tender is a contract, of sorts, a player signs announcing his intentions to play for that particular NAHL team and that NAHL team only. Once a player signs a tender with an NAHL team, his playing rights belong to that team within the NAHL and he may not be recruited by any other NAHL team. Each team is granted ten (10) tenders, which include one tender exclusively used on players from the NA3HL - plus or minus any trades - which became active on Nov. 1. Tendered players are not eligible for the NAHL draft, which will be held on June 5, 2018.
